Peny Manavi was born in 1968. She has a degree in Physics from the University of Athens as well as an M.Sc degree in Radiation Physics at University College of London. From 2000 painting has become her exclusive occupation. She graduated in 2004 from the Athens School of Fine Arts having as professor the well-known artist Yannis Psychopaidis.
She has held ten solo shows in Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki and Syros) and in Europe (Madrid and Paris). She has also participated in group exhibitions in Greece and in galleries and International Art Fairs in New York and Miami (USA), Toronto (Canada), Osaka and Tokyo (Japan), Busan (S.Korea), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and in Europe: Paris, Madrid, Lausanne, Mannheim and Hamburg(Germany).
In 2013 she participated in the exhibition “Art en Capital”, Grand Palais Paris and was nominated with the distinction “Toile d’Or de l’Année 2013” by the “Federation Nationale de la Culture Française” .
Her artworks can be found in public or private collections in Greece and internationally.
She lives and works in Athens.
