Thrassos Avaritsiotis was born in Lamia and is currently living in Athens. (Greece). He studied at the School of Fine Arts at Athens, (BA) and attended Ad Hoc Postgraduate Studies at the University of Reading (England), Scenography at the faculty of School Fine Arts in Athens and Monumental Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam (Holland).
He has performed 10 solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions. His art portfolio consists also of vitraux, mosaic, posters design, book covers design and other. His work can be found in private and public collections.
Lectured (Professor – Visual Arts) in the department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art (Faculty of Applied Arts and Culture), at Technological Educational Institution of Athens, 1987- 2018 and in the same department, 2018 – 2019 at University of Western Attica of Athens, (Greece). Professor Emeritus (from 2019) of Visual Arts at University of Western Attica of Athens, (Greece).
While lecturing at the university, he participated and coordinated many Greek and European research Art projects and he has done several Research Publications.
28 * 20 cm artwork dimensions ( total print 32.4 * 22.2 cm including the white space in all sides of the print). Offset printing, cotton paper of 310g printed and signed by the painter.
